Linda Mann

I am a relative newcomer to the organized sport of snowmobiling but have used snowmobiles since I was a child because my parents had a camp in the woods.

I am a long-time volunteer with the Restigouche Snowmobile Club, having volunteered there for years before even owning a snowmobile.

I held the position of Vice President there for one season before taking over the role of President a few years ago. I am also responsible for doing trail signage and looking after the Club’s Social Media accounts. I am excited to take on the added responsibility of sitting on the board of directors for Snowmobile NB.

I hope that I will be able to further promote our amazing trails with this new role, and hopefully introduce more people to our beautiful trail network throughout the province.

I bought my first brand new snowmobile in the fall of 2017 and during that first season, I discovered a passion for the sport. I travelled 1200 kms that first season, which I thought was a remarkable feat, but have since logged over 30,000 kms on the trails in New Brunswick.

I’m so fortunate to be able to leave my home and be right on some of the best-groomed snowmobile trails in Canada. I always say that a day spent exploring the trails is the best way to spend the day, and if you meet me on the trails, you will see a smile on my face. When not snowmobiling, I work as a Medical Laboratory Technologist, and in the off season, I am busy in my garden, sewing quilts and hanging out with my flock of chickens.

I’m always planning my next adventure and counting down the days until the White Gold of Winter returns.
