Kyle Good is a dedicated leader within New Brunswick’s snowmobiling community, bringing passion, experience, and a strong commitment to the growth and sustainability of the sport. Since 2011, as your provincial Trail Manager of Snowmobile-Motoneige NB, Kyle works closely with clubs, volunteers, and partners across the Province and North America to ensure safe, enjoyable, and well-maintained trail system for permit holders of all levels.

With a background in forestry, Kyle combines organizational expertise with a lifelong love for snowmobiling. His efforts are focused on promoting rider safety, advancing responsible use of New Brunswick’s trail network, and ensuring the next generation of riders inherits a strong, vibrant snowmobile community. Beyond his work with Snowmobile-Motoneige NB, Kyle is known for his collaborative spirit and hands-on approach. He believes that snowmobiling is more than a winter activity—it’s a way to bring people together and explore the beauty of New Brunswick.

Kyle is an avid outdoorsman based in the Restigouche area. When he’s not out on the trails for work, he actively volunteers with local snowmobile and ATV clubs, contributing to the community he loves. Kyle’s other favorite time of year is the summer, when he embarks on annual camping trips with his wife, Emily, and their two children, Addison and Rhylee. In addition to camping, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including boating, ATV/SxS riding, and snowboarding.

Born in May of 1987, Kyle Good was raised in the small community located in northern New-Brunswick known as Dalhousie Junction. His family consists of his parents Kevin and Laurence Good and his younger brother Mathew Good.  In June 2005 he graduated from Dalhousie Regional High School and continued his studies at the Maritime College of Forest Technology. After two years of studies, in 2007 he was proud to have received his diploma for the completion of the Forest Technology program.

In the past Kyle has had the pleasure of working for Rene Trailer Sales during the summer months of his junior and senior high school years.  After graduating college he was then offered a job with the Department of Natural Resources in Islandview, New Brunswick where he worked as an assistant with the native harvest program in the fall of 2007. From 2008 to spring of 2010 he then worked for Best Home Insulators spraying foam, upgrading and installing insulation at new and old constructions.  In the spring of 2010 he was offered a job once again with DNR as Squad Boss Leader for the Region 3 Fire crew for the upcoming fire season.

Kyle has been snowmobiling since he was a child.  He received his first sled a 1992 Arctic Cat Panther Deluxe 440 in 2002 as a Christmas gift from his parents and his passion for snowmobiling flourished.  Both his father – Kevin Good and uncle – Allan Good in the past were heavily involved with the snowmobile federation as president’s of the Restigouche Timber Trail and the Restigouche Snowmobile Club.  Kyle always enjoyed tagging along on permit checks and installing proper signage in the Restigouche Timber Trails area.

On February 14th, 2011 Kyle was hired as the provincial trail manager for the Snowmobile-Motoneige NB.  His role in the organization includes all aspects of mapping, including the production of the paper maps, interactive trail maps, apps and other digital mapping.  Trail signage where he applies his skills to annual classroom training courses in the fall of every year and conducts trail checks throughout the winter season annually.  Grooming also falls under Kyle’s responsibilities. He has helped Snowmobile-Motoneige NB induct the entire fleet of groomers with GPS units. Amongst many other things, he is responsible for the Atlantic Groomer Demo held biannually in February and a biannual classroom training course in the fall.  Kyle attends several government meetings on behalf of the 49 clubs, two of which are known best as Provincial Trail Planning Committee (PTPC) for processing trail amendment applications and the International Snowmobile Congress (ISC) annually as he sits on the International Board of IASA (International Association of Snowmobile Administrators).

Kyle continues to enjoy driving snowmobiles in the Restigouche area but is also very fortunate to experience the entire province.  Working with the Snowmobile-Motoneige NB has allowed him to make relationships province wide.  His other hobbies include canoeing on the Restigouche River, boating, ATV’ing, hunting, snowboarding, camping, farming and many other outdoor activities.

Kyle is married to Emily (Doull) Good from Campbellton, NB. Kyle and Emily met in 2004. Both were attending senior years in high school and rarely missed a weekend snowboarding on Sugarloaf Mountain. On December 12th, 2015 Kyle and Emily were married in Campbellton, NB and the following summer moved back to the Campbellton region. 

February 22nd, 2018 Kyle and Emily were fortunate to give birth to their first baby girl, Addison Good. Addison already has her first snowmobile, a 2013 Polaris Pro 120 which she enjoys as much as her dad does watching her. On December 10th, 2021 Kyle and Emily welcomed their second little girl, Rhylee Good. Great adventures await these two little girls.
