Greg Grant

Greg started snowmobiling with his parents in 1990.  His first snowmobile was a Polaris Indy 1992.  Since that early start, he has snowmobiled all over the province of New Brunswick

Greg’s involvement with organized snowmobiling started young, as his parents were both involved in the Woodstock Trail Makers Snowmobile Club from the time he was a child.  His father was Trail Boss and mother was the Treasurer.  That is where he first learned the value of volunteering in the sport.  Greg has spent many hours working on and sitting in the groomer with his father and other club members, as well as counting Trail Permits and money with his Mom at the kitchen table.  After some time away from snowmobiling, he got involved again after purchasing a new (to him) sled in 2011 and started helping the club out in 2012. After become involved in the club again he has taken on several roles, including organizing the Lotto, taking care of and driving Grooming Equipment and Club Treasurer.

In Greg’s own words: “Winter has become my favorite season. Sledding gives us the chance to get outside and explore.  The people you meet and the friends you keep in this sport are amazing.  The places you get to enjoy on a sled are great, every trip is an adventure.  In NB we have a great system to explore!!!”
